Revolution Torched!
My wife and I attended this soccer match and had an amazing time. We took the supporters bus, from Fado's Irish Pub to and from the game, which added to the feel of the home supporters. We arrived early and walked around and participated in the fan fest. Although small, we did notice and appreciate the event was catered to children and providing free samples to fans.
The game itself was amazing. Our seats were just behind the goal near the Sector Latino (opposite the Harlem End) and we were up close to the action, especially with the Fire's two first half goals. The fans and crowd chanted the whole game and made for a wonderful experience. We would definitely recommend going to a Fire match.
Ridiculous purse rule, and ridiculous wait for concessions
The no-purse rule should be plastered everywhere, before and after ticket purchases. My daughter was not allowed entry and missed the entire first half, having to take her purse back to the car. The day after, we found the no-purse rule buried, but we also saw mention of lockers by the south entrance. We entered at the north entrance and the security people did not mention lockers were available on the south side. Thanks for nothing. The rule was also enforced inconsistently. We saw some people with the same purse allowed in. It's a stupid rule in any case. Just search the purse. Also the wait at concessions was really long. Slow service. Overall a pretty terrible experience.
